Sundries

1. Legend of Korra is impressively well written. I definitely want to think not only about the story arc but also about the smart ways they add humor without pulling away from the story.

2. Hobie trimmed our outsized oleander this morning, so I found a vase of flowers on my table when I got up.

3. Migraine day! Ick. Seems to be weather-related. I don’t really love being a human barometer.

4. I thought I would love the film Another Earth. Oh my, how I did not. It inspired mean stick figures. Do you want to see them?

5. May have caused a lot of trouble for myself. I signed up for Clarion’s Write-a-Thon: http://clarionwriteathon.org/members/profile.php?writerid=262208. I won’t ask for sponsorship, but I do ask for encouragement. I need a kickstart.

Mean stick figures please!!! I am hoping my looming weather headache goes away very soon, as I am tired of the heat related nastiness. Perhaps it is all of a muchness.

This week’s Korra episode had so many awesome scenes that to list them all would practically be a synopsis of the show. MVP goes to Lin Beifong, but everyone got their moment. (Even Naga!)

(I’m told the character introduced in the last thirty seconds or so already has shippers writing fanfic. 🙂 )

Mike – Agreed about Lin Beifong. What a great character!

Okay. I will clean up those stick figures and get them posted.
